CGIL-GWU trade union contact point
On 30 November 2019, a press conference was held at the GWU headquarters in Valletta to present the new trade union contact point CGIL – GWU in the presence of a large delegation from the CGIL and the entire GWU.
The trade union Contact Point is a CGIL and GWU service to provide hospitality, services, assistance and representation to the requests and needs of male and female workers, young people, pensioners and Italian pensioners present in Malta.
The aim is to put Italian users in contact with the various sections already present within the GWU so as to be able to provide trade union assistance and representation, trying to break down language barriers and the lack of knowledge of their rights on the workplace also takes care of informing Italian citizens of what is happening around them also with explanatory videos.
