The General Workers’ Union wishes to express its dismay at the death of Mr Mario Mallia, the former Bank of Valletta Chief Executive Officer.
During his tenure, Mr Mallia always respected his workers, and was also instrumental in the successful conclusion of numerous collective agreements, which were signed by the GWU Section for Professionals, Finance and Services Sector, both for its clerical as well as its non-clerical staff.
The GWU would like to join so many. others in expressing its sincerest condolences to the family members of their loss incurred by Mr Mallia’s death.
