A collective agreement reached in recent days for Foster Clark’s technical staff, supervisors, storekeepers and quality controllers will improve their wages and working conditions.
This collective agreement, signed between the company’s management and the GWU Hospitality and Food Section, is considered proof of confidence in the workers’ abilities. This is because it is structured in such a way that it not only provides incentives, but also rewards workers’ skills.
In fact, this agreement is an innovative model that focuses on the added value of workers and gives them the opportunity to develop their skills.
The importance of this agreement as a model stems from the fact that today the industry is increasingly aware of the need to invest in human resources and skills improvement.
Foster Clark Products Ltd. and GWU’s Hospitality and Food Services Department worked together to develop this innovative collective agreement for worker development.
The agreement was signed by Kenny Muscat – Secretary of the Hospitality and Food Services Department, Charles Vella – Vice President, Gabriel Pullicino – Assistant Secretary, and Ray Ellul, a representative of the Hospitality and Food Services Department, as well as Joseph Busuttil, General Manager of Foster Clark Products Ltd.
