94 percent of LESA members approve new collective bargaining agreement

More than 94% of LESA employed members approve the collective bargaining
agreement negotiated between the GWU union and the agency.

The Disciplinary, Security and Law Enforcement Section within GWU thanked all
those involved in reaching the agreement, including Minister Byron Camilleri, GWU
Secretary General Josef Bugeja, the Permanent Secretary Emanuel Psaila, Agency
Director General Svetlick Flores, several officials from the Prime Minister’s Office
(including the Labour Relations Department), but especially the two representatives
Marius Bugeja and John Galea, who continuously supported their colleagues
throughout the negotiation process.

Tomorrow, Thursday, July 21, the signing of the collective agreement will take place,
which has a duration of five years (2021-2025).
