The GWU would like to thank the employees of Air Malta for the trust they have
placed in the GWU over the years to represent them.
Thousands of employees in all departments of Air Malta who have shown their trust
in the work of the GWU. Trust that has been reciprocated with several collective
labour agreements and has translated into decent and dignified working conditions.
The solidarity shown by these workers with other workers and the commitment to the
company and customers will certainly be remembered.
The GWU pays tribute to these dedicated workers who have ended their careers
with this airline, which has been in operation for fifty years. Workers who have been
an integral part of Air Malta’s journeys.
We now look forward to representing and defending the workers of the new Maltese
national line, KM Malta Airlines.
