Yesterday, Dr Katrina Borg Cardona left us after battling a serious illness for a while. Katrina was in the hospital in England for treatment. Dr Borg Cardona was part of GWU’s legal team.
During a time when she represented GWU legally, she worked tirelessly to defend our member workers while making sure they were treated appropriately. Katrina was a guide to several workers and professionally provided them with the information and legal support they needed.
The GWU would like to extend its condolences to her family, especially her husband and two children. Dr Borg Cardona, on behalf of the GWU staff, we want to thank you for defending us and working for us. Rest in peace Katrina.
