A new collective agreement for the employees of the company Multigas Ltd

The General Workers’ Union continued the series of signing collective agreements that it concludes with various companies, the last of which was signed with the company Multigas Ltd.

This collective agreement, valid for the period 2022-2025, will lead to better working conditions, including an increase in wages and allowances and other measures in favour of the family.

Workers will be recognized for their “seniority” within the company, and new grades will be introduced, giving workers the opportunity to advance in their careers. The secretary of GWU’s Chemical and Energy Section Rita Dimech, said that this agreement is a result of the good relations between GWU and management. This will motivate employees more and serve as a platform to create new jobs.

The agreement was signed on behalf of GWU by Secretary Rita Dimech and shop steward Wayne Pantalleresco. Signing on behalf of Multigas were its CEO, Eng. Michael Mifsud, HR Melinda Farrugia, Financial Controller Carlos Camilleri and Operations Manager, Eng. Reuben Attard.
