Signing of a collective labour agreement between GWU and HSBC for non-clerical employees

A new collective agreement has been successfully signed between the Skilled
Labour, Finance and Services Section of the General Workers’ Union and HSBC
Bank Malta. This agreement guarantees a range of benefits for non-clerical workers
for the years 2024-2026.


Riccarda Darmanin, Secretary of the Section, expressed her sincere appreciation to
all those involved in the negotiations, which will undoubtedly have a positive impact
on the Bank.


The signing was led by HSBC CEO Geoffrey Fichte, Head of Human Resources
David Perotti, GWU Section Secretary Riccarda Darmanin, Section Deputy
Secretary Paul Micallef and employee representatives Anthony Facciol and Simon
Calleja.
