The workers and management of Union Print, along with all the members of the GWU, lament the loss of one of the veteran journalists within the Union Print.
Sam Sammut worked for a large number of years as a journalist, as well as a Head of News, in a large number of publications by the GWU.
Amongt some of the early comments who said goodbye, there were a lot of friends and acquaintances who expressed their shock at the sudden news. Sammut will also be remembered for his active invovlvment within the Tamal Band Club in Ħamrun.
