The GWU is withdrawing its directives in favor of Porters in the Emergency Department at Mater Dei following agreement reached a few days ago on the number of porters to be made available to patients in an emergency. best service to receive the best service care they need.
The GWU – Government and Public Entities Section was approached by its members who unfortunately could not provide the best service to patients in this department due to the influx of patients. The staff knows how important this department is to the patients so they felt they should ask for more help.
The department immediately contacted Mater Dei Hospital Management and several discussions were held to resolve this situation. This same department would like to thank everyone involved for reaching the best agreement for both parties.
