The GWU Pensioners Association has written to the Mayor of Cospicua Local Council, Mrs Alison Zerafa Civelli, requesting that a number of benches be placed along the Cospicua waterfront, particularly suitable for the elderly. This came after a number of members of the association, several of whom are residents of Cospicua, approached the association to join the case and make a request on their behalf.
The Pensioners Association believes that its application is just and appeals to the Cospicua Local Council, to grant its application. He also appeals to anyone who can help to grant this request.
Finally, the Pensioners Association appeals to the elderly to join the Association so that it continues to be for the benefit of the Maltese and Gozitan elderly.
