The General Workers’ Union has just signed a new collective agreement covering all the workers of Methode Electronics Malta Ltd.
This agreement is the result of long months of talks with the management and the workers’ representatives. Through this agreement, the workers will enjoy better working conditions including also an improvement in the financial package.
David Darmanin, the Secretary of the Technology, Electronics and Communication Section of the General Workers’ Union took the opportunity to thank all those who contributed to reach this agreement which should continue to improve workers’ conditions.
The agreement was signed by David Darmanin, Secretary of the GWU Section, Maria Sonia Camilleri, Charlene Cachia, Matthew Chetcuti and Gary Parnis – shop stewards Methode Electronics Malta Ltd., Jose Luis Arenas – Vice President HR EMEA and Stephen Rizzo – Vice President Europe.
