GWU and Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Malta Sign New Collective Agreement

The Chemical and Energy Section of the General Workers’ Union (GWU) and
Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Malta have successfully signed a new Collective
Agreement aimed at improving salaries and working conditions for employees.
Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, a global company specializing in rubber washers, has
maintained a long-standing collaboration with the GWU through a series of
progressive agreements that have continuously enhanced the work environment.
This latest agreement builds upon that foundation by introducing more flexible
working conditions, sustainable salary increases, and opportunities for professional
development.

The official signing took place with the participation of GWU representatives,
including Chemical and Energy Section Secretary Rita Dimech, alongside union
representatives Khaled Shoieb, Jesmond Gatt, Jeffrey Micallef, Ancel Baldacchino,
Anthony Bonnici, Shaun Spiteri, and James Schembri. Representing the company
were General Manager Neal Borg, HR Manager Marlies Sciberras, and Financial
Director Robert Cutajar.

This agreement marks another milestone in the ongoing efforts to enhance
employee welfare and strengthen the relationship between the union and the
company.
