Employees at Evos Ltd. will benefit from improved working conditions, enhanced benefits, and salary increases following the signing of a new Collective Agreement between the company and the General Workers’ Union. The agreement covers the period 2025–2028.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the company by Managing Director Sonke Slein and Director and Operations Manager David Muscat.

On behalf of the GWU, the agreement was signed by Maritime and Aviation Section Secretary Jurgen Azzopardi, while employees were represented by Jason Saliba, Michael Tabone, and Joseph John Zammit.

Secretary Jurgen Azzopardi expressed his satisfaction with the signing of the agreement, stating that while it strengthens employees’ working conditions, it also introduces new measures aimed at improving work-life balance.

“I look forward to seeing these employees receive what they deserve and to continuing to strengthen this positive relationship with the company in the years ahead,” said the GWU Maritime and Aviation Section Secretary.

Also present for the signing was GWU Deputy Secretary General Kevin Abela, who congratulated all parties involved.

“I congratulate the company and thank them for the support they continue to show towards the GWU. I also congratulate Jurgen for the extensive and dedicated work carried out to reach this agreement. These are the moments that truly highlight the value of our work on behalf of workers,” said Abela.

Evos Ltd. Managing Director Sonke Slein said that although the negotiation process took time, an agreement was ultimately reached that benefits both the company and its employees. He also thanked the GWU for its collaboration and efforts in successfully agreeing.
