The General Secretary of the General Workers’ Union, Josef Bugeja, also commented on the EY study. He said that Malta continues to attract foreign direct investment despite the challenges we still face.
He also referred to the proposal mentioned by the GWU, which requires a holistic and
strategic vision for the whole country, while what the Prime Minister said fills us with courage for a better future. He said that what the GWU is saying is in line with what the industry, social partners and other stakeholders are thinking.
