The General Workers’ Union has obtained recognition of the workers employed by X
Clean Limited through the Hospitality and Food Workers’ Section.
This recognition followed a review by DIER, which found that most workers are paid
members of the union.
This process was undertaken after the Ministry was informed that most workers
recognised the benefits of membership of the country’s largest trade union.
