The GWU (Government and Public Entities Unit) again reported an industrial dispute at Mater Dei Hospital after more work was being carried out by its members who work as porters in the emergency room.
After an agreement was reached in recent weeks, where even the first dispute was withdrawn by the GWU after cooperation between the two sides, management changed this agreement and the operations of these workers without the consent of the union.
Therefore, the GWU had no choice but to call again an industrial action to protect these workers.
