GWU members to benefit from an exclusive discount on specialised aviation training courses

The Secretary of the Maritime and Aviation Section within the General Workers’ Union (GWU), Jurgen Azzopardi, has reached an agreement with Raven.aero aimed at expanding access to training and professional development opportunities for GWU members, while offering an exclusive discount to those seeking to enhance their skills and advance their careers in the aviation sector.

This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of both organisations to investing in workers’ skills, promoting lifelong learning and supporting professional development, both for those already employed in the aviation sector and for individuals aspiring to pursue a career in the industry.

Raven.aero is a Malta-based professional learning platform specialising in the aviation and aerospace industries, with the aim of making high-quality education in these fields more accessible to everyone. Although the company is based in Malta, its team includes professionals working across several European countries.

For more than five years, Raven.aero has been providing training to aviation professionals worldwide, combining modern learning technologies with practical, industry-led instruction.

Courses are delivered online and can be completed at participants’ own pace and convenience. They incorporate interactive exercises and game-based learning techniques, helping participants better understand and apply aviation regulations and safety principles.

Raven.aero also uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to develop customised training based on the procedures and manuals of different organisations, creating digital content tailored to their specific requirements. Through this agreement, GWU members will benefit from an exclusive 25% discount on all Raven.aero self-paced courses priced above €50. This initiative will make specialised aviation training more accessible and affordable for Union members.

How GWU members can benefit from the discount

Interested members should contact Raven.aero directly by sending an email to [email protected], together with proof of their GWU membership.

Once membership has been verified, Raven.aero will provide an individual, single-use discount code within one working day. This code will allow eligible members to enrol in their chosen course at the discounted rate.

Through this initiative, the GWU is placing particular emphasis on reskilling and upskilling, recognising the importance of equipping workers with the knowledge, competencies and qualifications required to adapt to the evolving demands and developments of the aviation industry.
