GWU Għaqda tal-Pensjonanti continued with its series of monthly educational and informative talks for the elderly. On this occasion, the topic was pensions and other benefits available to elderly persons.
The subject was addressed in detail by Director General of the Department of Social Security George Cremona. In his talk, he focused mainly on the measures in favour of the elderly and pensioners that were announced in this year’s Budget.
During the activity, Cremona provided a clear explanation of these measures and how elderly people could benefit from them. At the end of the talk, he also answered several questions from those present.
