The General Workers’ Union (GWU) has officially received collective recognition for employees at Pariplay Malta Ltd. and Aspire Global International Ltd. This makes GWU the sole union authorized to negotiate on behalf of all employees in these companies.
The recognition follows a verification process by the Department of Industrial and Employment Relations (DIER), confirming that the majority of employees are GWU members.
Riccarda Darmanin, Secretary of the Professionals, Finance and Services Section, said the next step will be opening discussions with management to improve working conditions for staff.
