Classic Credit Cards

Maximum Limit:
    € 2,500

New Cards:
    Fee Free First Year (Government Levy to be paid by cardholder).
    First 12 month period at 0% interest from opening of account applicable for purchase transaction only. (Cash withdrawals and cash advances will attract normal applicable interest rates.)


Flexicredit

Flexicredit Overdraft Limit:
    € 2,500

Flexicredit Loan Limit:
    €12,000

Interest rate:
    3% over Bank’s Base Rate. Loans of over €12,000 will attract a margin of 4% above Bank’s Base Rate on that portion of the loan exceeding € 12,000. Rates on existing facilities will not be amended.

Processing Fee:
    Members can benefit from a 50% discount on processing fees if they apply for a loan through the Bank’s Internet Banking

Unsecured lending must not exceed one year net income. Normal credit scoring criteria applies.


Homeloans

Commitment / Processing Fee:
    50% discount subject to a minimum €40

Processing Legal Fee:
    50% discount subject to a minimum €90


Moratorium in case of redundancy

In case of redundancy, the GWU will endeavour to provide the necessary guidance to its members, and will make sure to inform the Bank. The Bank will adopt its usual stand, and will consider each case on its own merit.
